2.45 GHz RFID Tag
The Active RFID Systems, Inc. SCN-245 asset tracking tag is designed to operate over a global area.

The SCN-245 tags automatically establish a self-configuring network in which they establish a data forwarding mode of operation based on a patented recursive network algorithm.

These tags also incorporate the ARS patent pending dual infra-red communication mode providing up to 5 years of operating life on the original batteries.

SCN-245 tags are designed to operate with the Active RFID Systems, Inc. EZR-2450-HD reader in the same manner as does the ARS 433.92 MHz operating system.

These tags are available with optional memory capacity and temperature sensors.
