Handheld Infra-Red Trigger Assembly
The Active RFID Systems, Inc. EZCC-7500 handheld trigger assembly is used to actuate the entire family of Active RFID Systems, Inc. tags.

This device issues commands such as beacon mode, high-power scan, anti-collision and, when connected to a laptop, can read and write data to the tags.

A laser beam points to the tags being triggered, allowing users to identify and trigger a single tag located in a field of many tags (singularity). This is considered to be an essential attribute for 99.9% control over data.
