WELCOME TO ACTIVE RFID SYSTEMS, INC.

Active RFID Systems, Inc. (ARS) offers innovative, low-cost, battery-powered, dual mode Radio Frequency and Infrared Supply Chain Management Systems for Total Asset Tracking, In-Transit Visibility, Security, and Data Networking over all mobile devices.

Product Highlights

Active RFID Systems, Inc.'s Active Radio-Frequency / Infrared Asset Tracking system and open-architecture, EPC-compliant products offer unmatched performance, flexibility, and process change-enabling tools across entire enterprise requirements.

ARS' tags, readers, triggers, software and services provide timely and accurate information on the location, movement, status, and identity of units, personnel, equipment, materiel and supplies, enabling you to act upon that information to improve overall logistic practices and achieve Total Asset and In-Transit Visibility.

ARS' TAV/ITV solutions facilitate dramatic reduction in manufacturing process downtime, in-process waiting time, shipping location errors and shrinkage, while improving item-aggregation and delivery routing time, location correct warehousing and assessment of liabilities.

ARS provides correct and accurate identification, status and location of your assets – anywhere, all the time, in real time..

The Benefits of Active RFID

Active tags, unlike passive tags, are powered by an internal long-life battery that continuously powers the tag and its RFID circuitry.

Active tags have a transmission range of up to 100 meters (300 feet), and can transmit data either continuously or when activated by a reader.

A single RFID reader can reliably and accurately collect data from thousands of active tags at speeds of more than 160 kilometers (100 MPH).

Active tags have much larger data storage and transmit capacities, and so are able to monitor and record sensory data such as temperature, humidity, and container seal status, and to store and transmit electronic manifest data.

Because of the flexibility that comes with their wide-ranging data storage and data transmit capabilities, less re-engineering of business processes is required to implement an active tracking system.

Active tags are the ideal solution for any business requiring sophisticated information from their assets.
